Yvette Hidalgo

Yvette Hidalgo is a first-generation Ecuadorian American from Queens, New York, whose
25+ year career spans education, fashion, arts, media, and entertainment across the East
Coast. A creative visionary, cultural producer, community organizer, and liaison to notable
graffiti and urban street artists, she has built a multifaceted path rooted in resilience, social
entrepreneurship, and community impact.

After beginning a mentorship with NYC’s YoUnity Arts Collective in 2007, she went on to help launch the Ladies Love Project in 2010, creating a platform that celebrates market culture, independent business, and community building. Her strengths in logistics, teamwork, and cultural preservation have shaped an integrated business model that bridges national campaigns and grassroots initiatives, with a strong commitment to honoring Hip Hop's golden era. She later co-founded the Brooklyn Queens Elite Collective with her partner, artist Antonio “Kel” 5MH, to uplift native New York artists and create opportunities for their work to be seen in gallery spaces. Grounded in social justice, philanthropy, and a deep belief in the power of culture to shape future generations, Yvette continues to build programs that restore, empower, and inspire.
